Teen Christmas Hampers & Food Christmas Hampers Recap
40 teen hampers + 15 food hampers = approximately 100 people served!
Teen Christmas Hampers: Your generosity has provided 40 hampers for teens. Reusable bags were filled with hoodies, pajama bottoms, warm socks, portable chargers, charging cables, chocolates, and Steps to Christ books. Thank you to the team who came to assemble the bags. A special thank you to Martha Nyagudi for delivering these hampers to Thrive Community Support Circle.
Christmas Food Hampers: We started this venture with a goal of gifting 5 families with food hampers. Instead, we were able to support 15 families within Henderson Highway Church! Thank you to each donor, especially Josh & Jacy – from Kenora, ON! – and Sheryl Sokolies & family for your great support. Maureen Foster, Harry & Renee Yamniuk, and Tyler Baxter helped to assemble these hampers. We drove over 140 km in and around Winnipeg to deliver them.
Donations to The Kindness Project are accepted all year long, by cash, cheque, and online giving. Thank you, everyone! Your prayers, generous spirit, and financial support are changing lives both within our church family and around Winnipeg. Thank you to ADRA Canada for seeing our vision and donating to The Kindness Project. These acts of kindness are for all of us. We are following Christ’s example and mission when we serve.
