“Love Without a Shadow” {21 Days of Prayer}

What if the most distorted idea in the world today is not about who we are — but who God is?

In a world full of broken promises, harsh judgments, and inconsistent affections, many have come to see God through a fractured lens. Some imagine Him as distant; others as demanding. Scripture pulls back the curtain to the clearest view of all:

God is love!

Not just loving. Not occasionally kind. Love is not limited to one of His many traits — love is His very essence. The Bible tells us this love has no shadow. No flicker. No change. No moment when it is less than pure and constant.

“Love Without a Shadow” will guide our 21 days of prayer and week of prayer as an invitation to see God clearly, perhaps for the first time. During this series, we’ll explore what it truly means that God is love — not the world’s version of love, not soft sentimentality, but the kind of love that casts out fear, reaches into our mess, and transforms everything it touches.

Together, along with the other Winnipeg Adventist churches, we’ll confront the distortions, reclaim the truth, and let our hearts be shaped by God, whose love never dims — even when everything else does.

Join us from September 14 to October 4 at 6 am daily on Zoom.
This will be followed by a week of prayer, October 5-10, at Silver Heights Church (2140 Ness Ave).
