Welcome to Henderson Highway Church!
What to Expect
Visiting on a Saturday Morning
You're invited for Bible study and worship any Saturday morning.
There is a parking lot behind the building. There are also a few spaces on the north side of the building close to the entrance, reserved for people with disabilities. Parking is also available on the streets around the church. (Please be mindful of the restrictions listed on the street signs.)
Our church is also on a bus route serviced by the 11, 41, and 77 buses.
When you enter, you’ll be welcomed as you come up the stairs. The greeters can assist you in finding a Bible study class or a seat.
There are washroom facilities just off the main foyer as well as an accessible washroom. Additional washrooms are located on the lower level of the building.
We have 2 segments to our Saturday services described below:
9:45 AM
Sabbath School
In-person Bible study begins at 9:45 AM. Classes for children, youth, and young adults are on the lower level as adults gather in small discussion groups in the sanctuary.
At 10:30 AM, we livestream a summary of the Bible study. We recap what was covered in the discussion groups and offer a time for reflection and prayer as you listen.
11:00 AM
Worship Service
Worship begins at 11:00 AM. Everyone comes together for a service that includes music; story time for younger children; prayer; and a message from the Pastor.
There is a Parents’ room just off the foyer, with window access to the sanctuary. The room has a changing table, a private feeding area, and seating. Parents can tend to their children without missing much of the services.
While there is reserved seating for parents of small children in the last 3 rows of the sanctuary, everyone is welcome to sit wherever they're comfortable.
Please don’t feel rushed to leave after the Worship service. Many use this time to quietly greet one another in the sanctuary and in the foyer.
On the third Saturday of each month, there is a fellowship lunch in the hall downstairs. Everyone is welcome to this potluck-style meal. Regular attendees will bring vegan & vegetarian dishes to share with guests. (There are no potlucks in July or August.)
On the last Saturday of each month, there is a fellowship group that shares a potluck lunch, followed by a service in Russian.
We livestream our Bible study summary and worship services on Facebook and YouTube. They're saved for replaying on both platforms.

Welcome Home
Henderson Highway Seventh-day Adventist Church is a group of people who strive to be more like Jesus every day. We come from all walks of life, but we’re all on this journey together. Together, we’re learning to love others as Jesus does, discovering what it means to worship God in spirit and truth, and trusting Him in our lives.
If you are on this journey or would like to know more about it, this is the place for you.
