Missionary Update

During the Sabbath School Investment report in March 2026, the leader shared about a missionary, Vadim Harchenko. He has spoken for the Russian service at Henderson Highway Church, and other sister churches in Winnipeg, telling the testimony of his service to God. Our Russian/German/Ukrainian Fellowship supports this endeavor and invites others to join them.
Below is an update from Vadim, as he’s engaged in an evangelistic series in Ethiopia, from April 1-12, 2026. Nightly, he & 4 other speakers are preaching in five locations simultaneously. Vadim’s contact information is listed below.

Dear friends, from the bottom of our hearts, from our small but dedicated team, we thank you for your support and for your prayers! We clearly see: despite all the difficulties and obstacles, the Lord Himself leads this ministry and blesses it abundantly!

Here we especially understood one important truth: Muslims are not ready to go to our cozy and large church buildings to listen to the Gospel. And that means we have to go to them. And the Lord opened the way!

Using this ministry as an example, in just one day the Lord helped us find a place right in their environment, and prepare it: He helped us to conduct electricity, pull a tent, bring benches. Our brothers and sisters here help us so hard in everything.

On the first evening, when the program started, about 150 new visitors arrived to hear God’s Word. On the second evening, there were already more than 200 new visitors.

Very often it is much more difficult to preach to Muslims, but I am sure that by the grace of God, with each meeting, the number of visitors will increase. I’m already worried that a small place was chosen initially!

And in this regard, a big request to you, my friends, Brothers and Sisters in Christ: so that we can constantly be on the “front line”, and that not only our team, but also other teams can come and conduct similar services here among Muslims, we need at least 5 large tents.

We ask not only for your continuous prayers, but also for financial support. (E-transfers can be sent to the contact info below.)

Now we use temporary shelters assembled from different pieces, like tree branches, old tarps and
from shrubs that were found. They are a little protection from the hot evening sun, but not from the rain. And although we are grateful to God for the miracles – it rains every day here, but it is during the evangelical program that the rain stops – we understand that the Lord shows us mercy but also indicates to a big need.

Friends, from the bottom of our heart, thank you for all the support…please continue to pray so that, together with the Lord, we can witness a huge number of souls who will open their hearts to Jesus, accept Him as their Saviour, and will be saved to the Glory of God!

God Bless you All!
