Rex Sokolies

Rex Sokolies was born in Winnipeg, grew up in a Seventh-day Adventist family, and joined the Henderson Hwy church in the 1980s. He was ordained as an elder in 2021 and works as an emergency physician in Winnipeg. Rex is married to Sheryl, née Soderblom, and they have two children, Ingrid and Martin. He is eager to see our church fulfill its mission and is happy to support our pastors and congregation. An enthusiastic musician, Rex also enjoys sharing his talents within the church, including serving as our church organist.
